Briden Cole Schueren is an award winning international queer trans artist, activist and business owner, who shares his life’s challenges and journey through his art. His works range in size and scale- from 1inch canvases to 40ft murals. He loves making art that pushes boundaries and makes people think outside of the societal norms. His art has a beautiful display of color, that makes you feel good, connected, and know there is a deeper message behind it.
Briden opened up BrickBox Studios, a local artist community space, in Columbus Ohio in 2013. He is a member of the You Will Rise Project, an organization using art against bullying. Briden is the founder of the Trans Pride Committee, which was born from his time on the board of Stonewall Columbus, where he created Columbus’s first annual Trans Pride March.
